Today I am pleased to announce the launch of RHSOSA Scholarship Program.

The purpose of launching this program is to recognize the achievements of fellow students studying in Rosaryhill School. With the launch of the RHSOSA Scholarship Program, scholarships will be given out to outstanding students in different areas of achievement in each year.

As Rosaryhill School is the root to the alumni, we would like to express our care to our fellow students.  We hope that through this program we can heighten the awareness of the Rosaryhill School Old Students Association, which was formed in 1967.

The objectives of the Association are to promote closer friendship among the fellow old students and foster the spirit of mutual assistance. Also, we would like to keep all of the alumni in contact with the School and with each other by arranging meetings, events, reunion, and various activities. We welcome all graduates from form five or above to be our member.  For interested parties, you may visit our web site www.rhsosa.org for details about the Association.

The RHSOSA Scholarship Program will be offered to students from kindergarten section, primary section, secondary section, and business studies section.  As the progress of development of each student varies at different age, it will not be fair to apply the same criteria for the selection of scholarship winners.  As a result, the scheme and selection criteria will be different to each of the sections.  Details of the program applicable to each section are covered separately in the respective sections.

Each winner of RHSOSA Scholarship will receive a certificate and cash voucher.  The amount of cash voucher varies from section to section.

As the funding of the scholarships solely relies on the RHSOSA Investment Fund, which was set up in 2004, we welcome our alumni to donate money to the RHSOSA so that we can create a larger pool of funds for more scholarships.

Lastly, I would like to thank for the assistance and co-operation from the teachers and principals of each section, and of course, Fr. Francisco and Fr. Xavier, who have been giving valuable advice to the Association.
