Time : Basketball 11:00 - 16:00, registration at 10:30 Fatima Basketball “Half-court”
Venue : Two Basketball courts in School (Fatima - Outside Secondary Lower Form / Girl’s section)
Competition Details :
Basketball 5 aside, Men’s - 8 teams
i) match is in the form of: Halfly- 2 x 12 mins in 1st Round; Quarterly- 4 x 8 mins or 4 x 10 mins in 2nd Round (Depends on time)
ii) 2 rounds of competitions: 1st round - Group competition; 2nd round: Knockout competition
*1st Round: 4 teams in each group (depends on the number of teams). Each team is guaranteed to play at least 3 matches
*2nd Round: the top two teams from each group will enter the knockout stage (The promotion logic from Group stage to Knockout stage: Win most matches > Win most points > Lose least points)
iii) each team can register up to 12 players
iv) Handicap point(s) will be given to leverage the age difference in different teams. All players have to provide their year of birth. Mr. Ko Kam Tong will adjust the handicap point on the day.
v) Mr. Ko Kam Tong is invited to assist the overall arrangement
vi) Referees are arranged for all matches
Enrolment fee :
- Basketball (men) $400 per team, will be collected during registration
Prize :
Trophy for Champion team and 1st runner-up team. All players are invited to join RHSOSA AGM after the competitions. Prize presentation will take place during the AGM (16:00-16:45).
Other arrangement :
- Car parking is available
