自本會公布將在2024年7月14日（星期日）在母校舉行告別玫瑰崗學校儀式以來，各校友反應踴躍，至今已收到超過一千人報名，舊生會亦全速籌備當中。
然而，母校近幾個星期來已開始在校舍各處進行大大小小不同的裝修工程，校監何神父昨天(7月9日)向本會表示十分關注有關活動的風險和安全管理並要求舊生會承諾負責所有出席者的安全，其中包括要求準確控制出席人士的程序，亦需要在活動前提供購買多份保險的証明文件。舊生會幹事經多次內部討論後，舊生會無奈未能夠在短短數天內能做到所有要求，故本會沉痛地決定取消是次活動。
本會對作出以上決定實屬無奈，希望各位校友能理解和體諒。
Cancellation of “Goodbye, Rosaryhill School” Ceremony
Since RHSOSA announced that we would organize a farewell ceremony on 14th July 2024 (Sunday), the response from our alumni has been overwhelming; we have received over 1000 registrations for the event and RHSOSA committees have been working very hard to prepare for the event.
On the other hand, we noticed that different kinds of renovation projects have commenced in different parts of the school campus. Moreover, on 9th July 2024 the School Supervisor Fr Hyacinth He expressed his concerns about the safety and risk management of the event and he requested RHSOSA to bear the responsibility of the safety of all attendees, controlling the procedures of checking the identities of the attendees as well as providing proofs of third party liability insurance and property all risks insurance policies. After having internally discussed about the issues, RHSOSA committee jointly accepted that we do not have the ability to meet all the conditions requested within the next few days; therefore, we are sorry to announce that the above event is cancelled.
We sincerely wish you all could understand why we made the above painful decision.
