SECTION V - GENERAL MEETING
ARTICLE 1 - ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Annual General Meeting shall be held once every year; the Annual General Meeting shall
ARTICLE 2 – EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING
Extraordinary General Meeting shall be held only when convened by the President of the Association either when the Executive Committee thinks fit or with a requisition signed by not less than 20 Ordinary Members and/or Life Members of the Association. Any such requisition shall specify the objects of the proposed meeting and no other matter will be discussed thereat without the consent of at least two-thirds of the members present.
ARTICLE 3 – VOTE OF NON-CONFIDENCE
A vote of non-confidence for infringement of the Constitution, neglect of duties or undeeming conduct may be moved against any member of the Executive Committee at an Extraordinary General Meeting held specifically for the purpose. A vote so passed shall call for the resignation of the person or persons against whom the vote is moved.
ARTICLE 4 – QUORUM
Twenty Ordinary Members and/or Life Members shall form a quorum at a General Meeting. If at the end of forty-five minutes after the scheduled time for the Annual General Meeting or Extraordinary General Meeting the quorum is not formed the Meeting must be adjourned to such time not exceeding a fortnight after the original date, at which date any number of Ordinary Members and/or Life Members present shall form the quorum.
ARTICLE 5 – NOTICES
Notification of the Annual General Meeting and Extraordinary General Meeting must be made TWO weeks prior to the Meeting, by printed circular, stating the nature of the matter for which the Meeting is convened, the date, time and place it is to be held.
ARTICLE 6 – RULES OF ORDER
Voting at meeting may be decided by simply majority or two-thirds vote, depending on the degree of importance of the matter; where appropriate the Robert's Rule of Order shall be recommended to be observed.
