A horrible natural disaster happened on 12th May 2008 in Sichuan province in the mainland. An estimate of over 50,000 people were dead in the incident. Many parents lost their children after the collapses of many schools and many children lost their parents as well. First, RHSOSA urges all Rosarians to pray for those who passed away and those who lost their loved ones in the biggest tragedy in this century. Secondly, we strongly encourage our Rosarians to donate money to help Sichuan. It is by no means a one-off exercise, we hope that you could use the money that you were planning to use it on luxury items to help the people in Sichuan. Various chaitable organisations below accept donations for this purpose. Thirdly, we hope all those who have the skills and abilities especially in medicine and civil engineering could consider to offer your professional assistance to help the recovery of Sichuan.
