I always consider Rosaryhill School my 'third' parent as I received my primary and secondary education through my schooling there, and those years had laid down a very good foundation for me when I pursued my goal in the later years. Apart from that, I also met some of my best friends in RHS. The 13 years I spent in RHS are the most precious period of my life. As the president of RHSOSA since 2006, I wish that RHSOSA could provide a channel for all of you to stay in touch with our mother school and your old friends and I also hope that you would join RHSOSA so that the Rosarian family will become bigger and stronger.

It's my pleasure working for RHSOSA for the fourth consecutive year. It is very exciting for me to be the Vice President of RHSOSA in the year of 2010-2011 after working as membership director and public relations director in the past years. We believe we will continue to service our alma mater, our fellow alumni and students to contribute to our society, our home, and Hong Kong. We need your support as usual and we look forward to hearing/seeing you again soon. |

Hi, I’m Amy Chan (Poon). I started my education in RHS since kindergarten and graduated in 1979. I joined RHSOSA in 2004 and have seen the growth of the membership in the past few years. I feel honor to be the treasurer of OSA this year and hope to see more students to join our big family.
There were too many happy memories throughout my years with RHS and most of all, my dearest hubby is also the student in RHS. I love my SCHOOL.

In March 2003, the Executive Committee gave an important assignment to me to set up an Investment Fund for Rosaryhill School Old Students Association ("OSA"). The purposes of the fund are to generate funds to contribute scholarship funds to the outstanding students from the Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary Sections annually and to generate sufficient funds to cover the day-to-day operations of the OSA.
After spending a year of careful study, the OSA Investment Committee approved the fund's investment policy and guidelines and to inject an initial capital of HK$400,000 in the second quarter of 2004. Thanks for God's blessing, the fund has not suffered any loss in the past six years, including the recent financial tsunami. The OSA Investment Committee has adopted a conservative approach with no more than 50% of equity investment at any time. This balanced fund has a target of generating 5% return per annum. Since the establishment of the OSA Investment Fund and with a low interest rate environment, we are fortunate to beat the benchmark and have already generated an accumulated return of 49.4% versus a compounded benchmark of 34%.
Despite drawing about HK$100,000 to grant scholarship funds to 50 outstanding students in the last five years and to finance the OSA's operation, the net asset value of the fund has grown to HK$515,000 by the end of December 2009. I have to thank for the members of the OSA Investment Commitment for their trust on me and their continual support.

I am another old student that grew up in Rosaryhill School. I started in Kindergarten and complete secondary school (Form 5) in 1978. I am a past President of RHSOSA from 2001 to 2003. I am very grateful of what Rosaryhill School has provided to me in all these years and I hope that I could make my small contributions in helping to bring all past students, current students and the school together in closer contact. |

It is my honor and pleasure to take part in the OSA executive committee. I will try my very best to contribute so as to repay my mother school in which I had received thirteen years of education since lower kindergarten.
As the Events and Activities Director, I will put my effort in organizing more enjoyable activities and I hope more old students can participate in our events. |

This is my second year with RHSOSA and I am glad being able to serve our alma mater. I studied in RHS Secondary from 1991 to 1998 and was actively involved in the school drama and photography club. Between 2001 and 2004, I rejoined RHS as a teacher in the Business section and was in charge of the school football team.
Moments with RHS are always precious and as the IT Director of RHSOSA, I hope our website can facilitate the needs of our alumni as a platform for regular updates and communications. I wish more Rosarians will rejoin our big family online even if they are not residing in Hong Kong.
